There is a math test on Friday. The test is on adding and subtracting whole numbers and decimals including estimating the answer. It will also include place value and graphs - picto, bar, and line. On Wednesday, the students will have a review assignment which we will go over on Thursday. The test will very much like this review. The directions will be the same with different problems. They will need to have the place names memorized in order.
We are currently studying genetics in science. We are on section 2 of the three sections on this chapter. I am not sure of the timing yet but there will be a test after the third section. The earliest that would be is Friday, October 23 but it may be moved back depending on what is accomplished each day in class.
For the students in my homeroom, the book report pages are due Wednesday, October 28. That will give me time to email you the amount of pages your child has done of the 400 required. If your child does not have all of his/her pages in, they will have until November 6 to get them in. (November 6 is the final deadline to turn them in.)
